Somatic & Attachment Therapy
Somatic and Attachment Therapy helps individuals heal by connecting the body’s wisdom with the unmet needs and emotions of earlier life experiences. Instead of focusing only on thoughts, this approach invites you to notice the physical sensations, impulses, and protective patterns that arise in your body—because this is often where your history lives.
In our work together, we slow down and gently track what your body is communicating: tightness, warmth, pulling away, holding your breath, or feeling activated or numb. These sensations often point toward younger parts of yourself that learned how to survive overwhelming moments. Through a combination of grounding exercises, breath awareness, mindful movement, and guided inner child exploration, we help these younger parts feel seen, safe, and understood.
As you learn to recognize and care for these parts with compassion, your nervous system begins to settle. Old patterns of shutting down, people-pleasing, overthinking, or bracing against life gradually soften. You start to respond to stress with more clarity rather than reacting from past wounds. Over time, this work helps you build secure attachment within yourself—trusting your emotions, honoring your needs, and feeling grounded in your body.
For individuals, Somatic and Attachment Therapy offers a deeply healing path toward self-compassion, emotional regulation, and a renewed sense of inner peace, allowing you to live with more freedom, authenticity, and connection.
