My clinical work is shaped by a blend of formal training, specialized credentials, and hands-on experience across diverse mental health settings. With state-endorsed childhood development training, trauma-informed certification, and somatic therapy credentials, I bring a holistic and grounded approach to healing. My additional training in DBT and attachment-focused therapy allows me to help individuals, children, and families understand their emotional worlds, even the parts that feel wordless, overwhelming, or held in the body.
Over the course of my career, I’ve supported clients across the lifespan and in a wide range of environments. My early work centered around infants, young children, and teens, where I focused on emotional development, attachment, and regulation. As my practice grew, I expanded to support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational patterns, and life transitions.
I have had the privilege of serving in leadership and specialized clinical roles, including:
𖤓 Supporting clients in adoption-related contexts, helping families navigate attachment dynamics, identity development, and complex relational experiences.𖤓 Working in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for youth, offering structured therapeutic support, crisis stabilization, and skills-based interventions for adolescents experiencing significant dysregulation and emotional overwhelm.
𖤓 Managing a substance abuse treatment program, providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care to individuals and families impacted by addiction.
These experiences allow me to meet clients with deep compassion, clinical insight, and attunement to how the nervous system, environment, and relationships shape healing. No matter the setting or stage of life, I approach each person with steadiness, respect, and confidence in their capacity to grow.
On a More Personal Note…
Growing up as the third of four children in a busy, high-energy household, alongside my twin brother, I learned early what it felt like to compete for attention.
In a home where voices were loud and life moved quickly, being heard often meant speaking up even louder. Comparison became second nature, and I internalized the belief that I had to work hard to be seen.
For a long time, I assumed my constantly activated nervous system was simply “normal.” I didn’t realize that not everyone moved through the world feeling as alert, sensitive, or intensely aware as I did. What I once thought was just my personality was actually my body working overtime to adapt.
I discovered that healing doesn’t come from pushing harder or becoming louder, it comes from slowing down. By learning to listen to my body, regulate my nervous system, and honor its signals and needs, I began to experience a deeper sense of safety and connection within myself.
That journey profoundly shapes how I show up as a therapist today, with patience, attunement, and deep respect for the wisdom each person carries within them.
