Does it feel like you're having the same argument over and over or avoiding conversations altogether?
Maybe one of you pursues while the other shuts down, leaving you both feeling unheard, frustrated, and alone.
Relationship challenges are common, especially during stressful seasons, major life transitions, or after trust has been strained. Over time, these patterns can make it difficult to feel emotionally connected, supported, or understood.
Couples therapy provides a space to slow down, understand the cycle you're stuck in, improve communication, and rebuild a secure, connected relationship. Together, we'll identify the underlying patterns keeping you apart so you can strengthen trust, deepen connection, and feel like a team again.

Hi, I’m Jennifer, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I work with teens and young adults who are navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, family dynamics, and the pressure of trying to figure life out. My approach is grounded in compassion, honesty, and evidence-based practices, while creating a space that feels real, supportive, and not judgmental.
I’ve spent the past several years and extensive training in supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or unsure of who they are or where they’re headed. You might be dealing with pressure from school, family expectations, relationships, or just feeling like you’re supposed to have it all figured out by now. On the outside, it can look like you’re managing, but internally, it can feel confusing, heavy, or exhausting.
This work matters to me because I understand how easy it is to question yourself during this stage of life. I don’t believe you’re meant to go through it alone or just “push through.” You deserve a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and build confidence in who you are. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more clear, and more like yourself as you move forward.
JENNIFER STREHLE LMFT
When your relationship is in crisis, it can feel hopeless. The good news? The right couples therapy approach can be life-changing.
Frequently Asked Questions:
-
Therapy is a space just for you, where you don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. Sessions move at your pace and are shaped around what you’re dealing with right now.
-
We’ll talk about what feels stressful, overwhelming, or confusing in your life. That might include school, work, relationships, family, anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling stuck.
When words are hard to find, we can slow things down and use grounding tools or body-based awareness to help you understand what’s going on inside.
You’ll learn practical skills to manage stress and anxiety, regulate emotions, and feel more steady day-to-day. Therapy can also help you explore identity, build confidence, set boundaries, and make decisions that feel right for you, not just what others expect.
If family tension or pressure is part of what you’re dealing with, therapy can help you navigate communication, independence, and boundaries while still staying connected.
Most importantly, therapy is a place where you can be honest, supported, and understood. You’re in a season of growth, and therapy offers support as you figure things out.

Some individuals want their Story Rewritten without insurance restrictions.
Why? Because real healing takes time, and your story is unique. Therapy isn’t about following a script or meeting quotas, it’s about creating a space where you feel seen and understood. Staying independent allows me to tailor our work to what you truly need, without being restricted by session limits or standardized treatments. This means we can go at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. This allows us to focus solely on your well-being without the constraints imposed by insurance requirements. Rest assured, our priority is to ensure that you receive the highest level of care and support throughout your therapeutic journey.
If the fee feels like a stretch, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I offer sliding-scale options because I believe therapy should be accessible. If you feel like we’d be a good fit, we can find a way to make it work. You're not alone in this—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
As a general rule, call your insurance company prior to our first session in order to verify out-of-network reimbursement and coverage by asking the following:Does my plan include out-of-network, outpatient mental health coverage?
If so, what percentage of the fee do you reimburse for therapy with a licensed LMFT?
Do I have an annual deductible and has it been met?
Is there a limit to the number of sessions my plan covers per calendar year?
How do I submit claims?
Some carriers have been authorizing Telehealth during the COVID pandemic but intend to eventually drop this coverage. Clients must contact their plan administrator to verify that their PPO plan covers outpatient mental health via telehealth with an out-of-network provider.
